General Director Maurice Unck and Safety Manager Beatrix Lourens received this award during the Customer First Awards on Thursday evening. Maurice Unck: 'Our staff work hard each day doing the utmost for our passengers. Our genuine commitment, that we deliver on our promises and our service focus are valued highly by our passengers.’

The Most Customer-Friendly Company in the Netherlands is the largest independent public award in the Netherlands. This year was the first time that an award was offered in the 'public transport’ category. 'A sector in which there are sometimes many complaints, but which works hard on customer-friendliness,’ the organisation stated. SAMR Marktvinders conducted ongoing research among over 50,000 panel members, with RET emerging as the most customer-friendly public transport provider in the Netherlands. HTM was second and Connexxion third.
